When I’m teaching students the art of photography I instill early that photography is about “making pictures and not taking pictures”. There’s a lot that goes into “making” a picture. Wether it be experience, knowing how to use the gear you have or most importantly working with people.
This image is one of my favorite images of all time. Not because it’s the greatest picture I ever took - but because of the great time I had working with Desire and Victor on their destination wedding (plus being on an island!).
