Location
This photo is taken at the "Limfjorden" in the northern of Jutland - Denmark. The plant is called Nordjyllandsværket. The photo is taken from a boat bridge floting on the water. Actually the small waves is caused by me standing on the boat bridge. Photo is taken from south-east to north-west.Time
The photo is taken in the morning at 6:40 the 20th of August 15.Lighting
The fact that the sky was very bright and the morning sun was shining bright gave the left bank a special glow and the sky was not too bright yet gave the high contrast in the picture. Also the fact that there were no wind at the surface gave the still water althou there were some wind in the height, see the smoke fan from the chimney.Equipment
Camera: Canon EOS 70D. Lens: EF-S10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 IS STM The photo is taken handheld.Inspiration
The morning was unusual windless so i knew where there was easy acces to the fjord, so I made a detour down there on my way to the job.Editing
The exposure is increased a bit and the colors made vivid. In my camera bag
Almost every day i bring the wide angel EF-S10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 IS STM and my Sigma 17-50mm f/2.8 DS EX HSM plus my Canon EOS 70DFeedback
Know in advance where to access places for a good picture when the right conditions (light, shadows etc) are present and then be ready when conditions are present.
