Whilst living in Queenstown, NZ, my Girlfriend and I were taking a trip to Glenorchy for the day with her Dad and his partner who were visiting us. On our way there we saw 5 or 6 kittens (presumably dumped) at the side of the road in the middle of nowhere. We stopped to investigate but were unable to get very close as they would runaway into the bushes every time we tried to approach. We notified necessary organisations and hopefully they were rescued and saved. Turns out even in the nicest, chilled out locations there are some very cruel people!
