Depend on what kind of photo that going to shoot. Normally the camera I prepare for ready to use will be two cameras and one more extra battery,and minimum three lens:50mm F1.4 or 50mm F1.7 for low light area,70-200mm for portrait,and one other for general purpose,may be 28-80mm or wide angle 20-35mm or 28mm Fixed.Feedback
No other special advice.The best to capture person character is the portrait lens because not to close to the model and more free to move.Fixed lens or zoom all OK depend on the lighting situation.Normally I prefer studio flash lighting with reflect and softbox but some time the window light will creat more mood by soften the skin tone.
