I was playing with photoshop and came up with this image. I know some will say this is not photography and I partially agree. The composition and exposure must be there. Like the Impressionists who took photographs in different light to later paint, the difference is now the medium used. Instead of paint we have computers. Does this mean the art and philosophy of "en plain air" no longer exist?
I just love the composition and dynamics of this image. I envisage this being printed on a textured surface like canvas. I see it in a large format... maybe 3M x 2M?
