I took this photo just out side Chico California on the Sacramento River. I set it on the rocks on the ground to get the right angle.Time
I took this at about 7pmLighting
Has a hard time getting proper lighting. Wanted to blow out the background so needed a low f stop but also wanted motion blur in the water so had to balance my shutter speed.Equipment
I used a Canon 70d with the canon 50mm stm. No tripod no flash.Inspiration
We went out just for a hike and as the day went on the light got better and better. I saw the awesome orange glow on the water and knew I needed a low angle and long shutter speed.Editing
Yea! Used Lightroom to do some minor tweaks with lighting and things but it was allready so good out of the camera. In my camera bag
Usually a camera tripod shutter relise mad filters and lensesFeedback
Just try to take a shot right before sunset the lighting is great for that. Also try to find a new perspective. Everyone sees from eye level so all shots from there have been seen before. Try to either get low or high. Just find a different perspective no one has seen before!
