This photograph was taken at Strumpshaw Fen near Norwich UK . I am just learning photography as just bought a bridge camera last year and have taken photography as a new hobby.Time
This is the first time ive actually seen a kingfisher in real life and not on tv or in books , so I was very keen to try and get the picture and was very pleased with the result it was just one of three that i managed to get as they are so fast .It was taken at about 1pm from a hyde .I nearly did not get this pic as i was about to give up and move on as no sighting but looked up and there it was so stayed an extra half an hour i was in the hyde for at least an hour in total .Lighting
Not experienced enough to advise on lighting ect as not sure myselfEquipment
I used a FUJIFILM bridge camera with a 50x zoom lens,no flash,tripod was used.Inspiration
I just take pics of anything and everything no particular subjectEditing
I had to crop and blow up a bit to get it as close as i wanted nothing else done.In my camera bag
I only own my fujifilm camera and my tripod so thats all I take with me on a photo shoot day .Feedback
The only and best advice I can offer as a new amature photographer is have lots of patients and have a tripod to hand as you will get a steadier more stable base .
