Behind The Lens
Location
The photo was taken at the Tackapausha Preserve in Seaford, New York. It wa a very hot and humid day with few visitors at the preserve.Time
The timing of the photo was early afternoon in the shade of the cages where the birds and other animals are kept.Lighting
The cages in the preserve provided shade for all of the animals and gave me good lighting without any glare.Equipment
I used a Nikon D5200 body with Tamron 18 300 lense, which I love.Inspiration
I had never been at the preserve and thought it would be a good idea that day. My subject was the only one looking at me, so I decided to take his/her picture.Editing
No post processing was used.In my camera bag
I have my Nikon 50 mm prime lense, Nikon 55 200 mm kit lense and a speed lite so 500.Feedback
Try to find a quite place with few others around. Look for a area with subjects looking at you and where you can set up without scaring them.
