I was just so lucky, I shot in manual but with auto ISO.Equipment
Cannon 5D mark 111 and Cannon 70 -200 2.8 L IS 11. I was actually on a boat, so very happy it was still a tad sharp.Inspiration
As a young boy I went to Longleat on a school outing, I had always admired my Father's camera from afar but I was never allowed to touch it. I was totally blown away when he allowed me to take it that morning, I know it was his pride and joy. He quickly explained the manual focusing and shutter speed and be it I did rather well on the day. Then 48 years later I returned to the same location so It was very special for me to enjoy myself and try to take the best pictures I have ever taken. When I saw the silverback gorilla started playing with the bushes, I knew I had to be very quick to get the shot, I remember shouting in my head, there is the shot must be quick and take it.Editing
Just Lightroom I do plan to go to capture one very soon.In my camera bag
Canon 5d mark 111 with 70 -200 2.8 L IS 11Feedback
My brother recently asked me why are you bothering so hard just to capture the seagull overhead when you have so many beautiful pictures of eagles and owls and more exotic birds. I looked at him straight and said in all honesty it is all about the practice to get the shot.
