I took this in Arches National Park near Moab.Time
This was taken during sunset, earlier this summer.Lighting
Taking this shot during sunset really helped bring out the desert colors and the storm clouds in the background really help contrast these colors.Equipment
No tripod or anything like that, just my simple Canon eos Digital Rebel XS.Inspiration
This is a classic photo destination and because I was in the area at the right time I hiked up and took some shots along with a good deal of other photographers.Editing
I edited this a bit with the snapseed app on my phone to bring out the color just a bit but that was about all that was done as far as editing goes.In my camera bag
I generally just have my Canon rebel with it's default lens.Feedback
The arch is a super easy hike to get to and as long as you time it with sunset you'll be able to get a great shot!
