Though a very common bird, the White-throated Kingfisher is perhaps one of those birds which has splendid colors and if taken with a bit of background then the photo becomes dramatic.

Here it is one of those moments - but I have converted the background into a oild painting making the effects more dramatic. Hope you like it and I will be happy to have your critics!!
