Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken looking up at my porch he was about to eat from the feeder that I have on the porch I had taken a few at eye level and wanted to see what I could get from below I got lucky with this one and a few other but I like this one most of all.

Time

It was taken at around 5:00pm in the afternoon.

Lighting

I had to get behind it in order to get the lighting I wanted the sun was going down so getting behind it gave me just the right lighting I needed.

Equipment

I used a Canon EOS 70D with a EF-S55 to 250 lens no tripod or flash. ISO Speed of 160, Focal Length of 250.0mm Tv ( Shutter Speed) of 1/320, Av (Aperture) of 6.3.

Inspiration

Saw a lot of hummingbirds on the wires so I bought a feeder to see if I could get them to feed from it when I saw that they liked it I started take a few pictures here and there the more they ate from it the more pictures I took of them.

Editing

No I didn't.

In my camera bag

Canon EOS 70D body EFS 18 - 55 lens, ESF 55 - 250, tripod, Speedlite 430X II Flash, defuser, two batteries with charger, a smaller camera Canon SX50 HS.
