This is one of my favorites images. We were in the bird aviary walking around, when all of a sudden, I see the Scarlet Ibis bathing itself. It was having a good time, so I just started snapping pictures. It was beautiful and seemed so happy. The picture was taken on May 3, 2016 at 2:10 p.m.Lighting
It was a beautiful, sunny day, so no artificial lighting was needed.Equipment
This was shot using a Sony DSLR-A350 camera with a Tamron 70-300 lens. No other equipment was needed.Inspiration
I love taking pictures and capturing animals in motion is one of my favorite things to do. This ibis was so entertaining that I wanted to be able to share the moment with others.Editing

I usually carry my camera, 2 lenses. One is the Tamron 70-300 and a Sony 18-70, extra batteries and another memory card so I don't miss any action.Feedback
Watch for exciting moments everywhere you go. You never know when you'll get a chance to start taking some great pictures. It takes a lot of patience to get some of the greatest shots. Don't be afraid to try something new!
