Behind The Lens

Location

I shot this photo of my car at a bridge in DE Pere, WI a small suburb of Green Bay. This was my first ever real photo shoot I m currently a college student.

Time

The time of day I shot this was around sunset at about I wanna say around 8pm ish. I was actually just driving around looking for a place because I was actually doing the shoot with my wife and car and found this beautiful location.

Lighting

The time of day gave me really good lighting especially with the water and beautiful sky in the background which also gave awesome reflections on my car.

Equipment

I shot this photo with my Nikon D5300, shot with my favorite lens my Nikon 50mm 1:1.8G, no flash, and no tripod for this shot.

Inspiration

What inspired me was the location with the sky, the water, and the awesome bridge.

Editing

I did some post processing in PhotoShop CC. What I did was just enhance some colors in camera raw because I always shoot in raw.

In my camera bag

In my bag I always carry of course my camera, my 50mm Prime, my fisheye lens, extra batteries, tripod, external flash, 1hr chrager, extra SD cards, usb, and zoom lens, and more.

Feedback

Some advice I could give is to be patient and give yourself enough time to get that shot you want. Seeing as I wanted to get this specific shot at sunset I drove around for a bit until I could get the shot. So make sure you give yourself enough time, and with a sunset you should have the shot you want pretty much planned because with sunset you have limited time.
