Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo when I was on a field trip with my high school friends. And I was really thrilled to see this little fella climb and look for a place to hide from the rain, and then he took a little break before coming down to the nearest tree.

Time

It was like at 12PM, I took it when it almost rain and the weather isn't in their best conditions with heavy winds and I only have 10 minutes to take this photo before it started to rain.

Lighting

It was very hard to take this photo in that weather because it is very limited lights and you should be adjusted to the right angle, but the lights gave us the cold, yet beautiful soft lights.

Equipment

this was shot using Canon 650D and there are no other types of equipment involved.

Inspiration

It was an accidental shot, but I hope it can tell you a good story about this little fellow that has the determination to climb and look for shelter from the rain. And it is really great to see how it took a little break before finally coming down for a shelter.

Editing

No, I didn't do any post-processing.

In my camera bag

I normally have my camera and some cleaning kits, and also some small notebooks.

Feedback

The weather changes abruptly depending on the day, you can have sun, snow, wind, or calm, all in one trip. you have to be patient and wait for the right time, which is essential in a situation like this. The weather like lenticular clouds and wind can create atmospheres as it happens. Have patience and just go with the flow.
