Have you ever been to the International Balloon Fiesta here in Albuquerque, NM? You'd love it!

I never have but it's on my bucket list. Balloons have been a passion of mine e since I was little. I grew up chasing them as the passed over our home hoping to help them pack up when they landed.

Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in the country in Kingsbury NY.

Time

The time of day was early evening

Lighting

The lighting just happen to be perfect at that moment to frate the shadow of the balloon. No adjustments had to be made

Equipment

I used a Nikon D3200 with a 55-70mm Tameron lens

Inspiration

The inspiration behind this is the love I shared with my Mother for hot air balloons. It was our last season of chasing balloons together before she passed. So this photo has a lot of sentimental meaning for me as the spring of that same year her and I took our first ever flight together for her last Mother's Day.

Editing

I didn't have to do any post processing for this shot. It was perfect the way it was

In my camera bag

I have two Nikon D3200 that I carry in my bag along with a spare battery.

Feedback

There isn't much advice I can give you to try and capture pics like this. It happened to be right time and place right at that veryoment.
