Location

Was lying on a beach in Mozambique when this little finch landed in the tree.

Time

Was around lunch time

Lighting

was harsh as it was mid day sun from behind the subject

Equipment

Nikon D7000 / Sigma 18-250mm Hand Held

Inspiration

Was playing with F/Numbers and check depth of view when I saw it and snapped a pic

Editing

Cropped the pic and adjusted the exposure as it was mid day and the light was harsh from above.

In my camera bag

Nikon D7000 / Sigma 18-250mm Hand Held most of the time when walking about have just added the 35mm F1.8G DX love the field of view from that

Feedback

Patience and don't rush it. some of the best photos I have take have been spur of the moment. over thinking can kill your creativity and shoot a little wider then you want so you can leave room to recompose later in post one less thing to worry about when taking a photo and take more then one.
