This is a piece of long retired, rusted old farm equipment that my great grandfather probably used long ago on his diary farm. I've wandered the old homestead many a time, and have photographed very old pieces of farm equipment and have wondered, "Did my great grandfather use this at one time?" There have been many owners of the old homestead since then, so I don't know if I'll ever have the answer to my questions, but it is interesting to ponder farm life back in the old days.
