I shot this last Saturday in the White River National Forest at Gore Lake.

After hiking 6 miles up Gore Creek Trail and gaining 3,400 feet of altitude, you reach the stunning Gore Lake in Vail, Colorado. It is part of the White River National Forest, in the Eagles Nest Wilderness area.

There are abundant and stunning camping options, and if you go in summer you will be welcomed with vibrant wildflowers.
