I took this photo while visiting the Bowling Green Historic Railpark & Train Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Was doing a bit of sightseeing, and figured I'd check this out.Time
From my recollections, it was a late Sunday afternoon.Lighting
The natural late afternoon lighting was perfect for this shot, in my book. The dark clouds seemed to make the locomotive headlight more luminous than it actually was (the light was not on).Equipment
I used my trusty Nikon Coolpix 810 for this shot. No tripod, no flash.Inspiration
I'm a longtime train buff (since age 5), and seeing one of these old diesel locomotives close up was like "hog heaven" to me. I had to get some shots, and I did.Editing
