I had to do a little waiting to wait for clouds to move off of boat and island.Equipment
I used a Canon 60D with a 75-300mm lens, hand held.Inspiration
I had been walking the beach earlier and saw this wonderful site.Editing
This was fairly easy just a little change in the contrast to make the clouds pop more.In my camera bag
Normally a Canon camera body whether it be a 60,70D or a 5D Mark II. Along with a good wide angle lens, a good zoom and always my 50mm.Feedback
Have patience. This photo took about 2 years to finally be at the beach at the right time with the boat still attached to its line. And then take a few different angles. Never just take one photo thankfully digital photos are easy to delete.
