This is the prerequisite shot from the Sun House at Machu Pichu. Word to the wise for anybody who hasn't been there but is planning to go. Buy the coca candy-leaves. The ruins sit in a saddle between Machu Pichu mountain behind me and Wyannu Pichu in the background of the photo. It's mostly straight up and straight down above 10,00 feet. The coca prevents the lack of oxygen issues you're going to have, because the staircases were made for the llamas. They're more like stone ladders.
