Freedom - because the Ukrainian Catholic Church was abolished by the old Soviet government in Ukraine for many decades. The faithful were imprisoned, beaten and persecuted for attending religious services.
Since the late 1980's, the church regained its freedom and has up to five million faithful in Ukraine and up to 10 million worldwide.
