It was a miserably hot and miserably sticky, humid day. The temperature was hovering around 100F (37.7C) and I had seven miles to bicycle home. Every rotation of the pedals; every shift of the gears: Hot, sticky, sweaty. Done.
As I get near my house, the sky darkens. No rain has been predicted for the day; suddenly, lightning. Pulling into my driveway, a crack of thunder can be heard, shortly after, rain. Making it home moments before the storm, I reach for my camera to document the scene.
