Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken during my visit to the beautiful Bran Castle from Brasov, Romania. I am an amateur photographer, i like to experiment different positions to make pictures.

Time

This picture was taken on the last Sunday of May, on a beautiful sunny day, around noon.

Lighting

What should i say about the light? As I said I am an amateur photographer, learning by my self, so I can not tell you give you any technical features about light, however, I should mention, that the light of the sun helped me too make this good capture.

Equipment

I used a Nikor Coolpix L 810 camera, macro mode. No other equipment was involved.

Inspiration

I made earlier some pictures flowers using my sunglasses, but during my trip to the Castle, I accidentally observed the reflection of the castle on my sunglasses while I was carrying it in my hands. I told to myself "I must capture this picture".

Editing

I did not do any post processing.

In my camera bag

I never leave from home without my Camera. At the moment I have a Nikon Coolpix L810. At the moment I am looking for a new, more performent camera to make better pictures, but I still have not decided which camera would be more appropriate for me.

Feedback

If you want to capture something similar, you should pay attention to the angle of the sunglasses and your camera, of course this depends on the distance of the object you want to capture also. I recommend to use macro mode and not to use flash.
