Behind The Lens

Location

At my backyard in Bellmore, New York.

Time

On the morning of a hot summer day, while the light is perfect bright.

Lighting

Because I used my iPhone to take the macro shot, so I prefer to do it on a sunny day.

Equipment

iPhone 6s Plus with macro lens attached.

Inspiration

I have been always want to try iPhone macro shot to reveal the beauty and elegance of the details on little creatures.

Editing

I used an in phone App " ProCamera" to do the minor adjustments of the lights , colors and contrast.

In my camera bag

iPhone , attachable lenses, Nikon D750 with 70-200mm f2.8, Nikon 200-500mm f5.6.

Feedback

To take macro shots with your phone, the most important thing is to stabilize your phone , I always try to find some support at scene such as mini- tripod, rocks, wood branches etc. Actually I took this shot with my whole body getting down on the ground and make my two elbows as the supporting points , then I took the shot handheld.
