Location
This is a picture that I captured at the Fort Worth Zoo in June of 2016, it is a man made water feature, the bright Texas sunlight spills through the tree tops and shows off the crisp colors of Summer.Time
It was late afternoon, just before a storm rolled in.Lighting
It was a partly sunny day, but the sun was shining bright in this particular area of the zoo.Equipment
This was shot on a Canon Xsi with a 18/55 F3.5 lens and a UV Filter, no other equipment was used.Inspiration
The sunlight was at a perfect angle and the rushing water left a calm serene feeling inside me, I plan to have this photograph hang in my office one day soon.Editing
I did some minor lighting adjustments and color enhancement in Photoshop CS4 using my favorite Nik.Collection application, Tonal Correction set at Subtle. In my camera bag
I only take what I need and everything else I own.Feedback
I capture first and foremost from my heart, then I move about a subject until I find the best available angle, then I shoot 6 more, because it's so easy to hit delete, and impossible to seize a lost moment in time.
