Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo one evening on the eastern shore of Mobile bay in Daphne, AL.

Time

I happened to be driving around that evening and I noticed the sky looked beautiful so I wentered down to one of the piers and waited on the sunset.

Lighting

I wanted this image to appear warm and inviting.

Equipment

I used a Nikon D300S with a 14-24mm Nikon 2.8 lens.

Inspiration

I love sunsets and nature in general, so I captured this photo to show how beautiful the Alabama coast is.

Editing

I did a small amount of correction on the levels in this photo.

In my camera bag

I normally carry my Nikon D300S with 4 lenses, filters, and tripod.

Feedback

To capture great sunsets you have to arrive early because the sun disappears fast.
