Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo at International Balonism Festival at Torres, a brazilian city on Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil

Time

I took this photo at 4 p.m., usually a good time for photos, on a cloudy day even better.

Lighting

Usually when u say "balloons" you think "colors", thats my personal challenge: how make an b&w photo about balloons looks interesting and somehow impactant.

Equipment

I use an Nikon D7100 with 180-105 lens, usually i carry my 50mm lens too, and my Manfrotto tripod with ballhead.

Inspiration

I been inspired in show how balloons can be nice even in a dramatic side, with high contrast and no colors.

Editing

I did used basically Lightroom, used some masks to increase the dramatic effect. Nothing more.

In my camera bag

The same equipment above, nothing more. 2 lenses: 18-105 mm and 50mm, my camera, and a tripod.

Feedback

To make something simillar try aways a cloudy sky and stay close the action (balloons).
