Captured at Berry Springs Park and Preserve in Georgetown, TX. A seldom seen, if not rare, site. The bees were traveling and got too cold. They created this temporary structure by binding themselves to each other. As I watched them, they carefully moved from inside to outside in order to share the warmth within.

Sunrise, just before the sun rose. A true twilight.

A glorious sunrise in Jarrell, Texas.

A spent thunderstorm feathers to the wind while the setting sun illuminates the throat of the thunderhead. The resulting effect produced a pseudo fun

Captured this as the butterfly was sunning himself (or herself; not an expert in such matters) on a downed tree.

Taken at his brother's birthday party. The hat was his brother's gift. His brother now wants it back...

Not much to add. Sometimes things just work in your favor...

July 4, 2013 in Georgetown, Texas. Taken with a Canon 60D, f-16 for 8 seconds at 200 ISO. I have to add that this is my first effort with fireworks.

His favorite toy. Only a shiny penny will do... when he is done playing with it, he cleans it off and neatly sets it next to his bed.

A small figurine with a black satin background. The satin reflected the flash creating the illusion of a star field. The moon was added and viola.
