Behind The Lens

Location

I was on the way to a friends house for a sleepover. I looked out the window and saw this beautiful sunset behind me and just had to take a picture.

Time

It was around 6 in the evening.

Lighting

I did my best with the lighting that I had. I fixed it up only a tad to make it brighter, and to help the colors stand out a bit more. I really wanted to keep the natural colors of the sun which is kinda hard through a tinted window.

Equipment

I used my Canon Rebel 2000 <3 I absolutely love it!!

Inspiration

I wanted to bring together something beautiful, like nature, with something not as beautiful, like the buildings.

Editing

I hardly did any post-processing.

In my camera bag

I normally have 2 different lenses, and my Canon Rebel 2000. I normally don't use a tripod because I like the feel of the camera in my hands.

Feedback

Don't over edit. Only edit when necessary. 5 and 6 are great times for sunset photos and don't just take a quick photo, really focus on what you're doing.
