This photo is yet another example of early morning light. Almost always a winning situation if you can find the right angle and subject.Equipment
I shot it hand-held with my camera at the time, a Canon T3i, and a Sigma 18-250 zoom. I was on the longer end of the lens.Inspiration
I was looking for that early morning light with mist rising off the lake, and found it.Editing
In post I emphasized the detail of the ancient tree, and also emphasized the soft focus of the mist, grass, and dog walker.In my camera bag
