I took this image with my film camera in 2005 in Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico. This lady was begging for money. I asked if I could take her picture and she was kind enough to say yes. Of course I gave her some money..the equivalent of about $20 and she was so happy. The next day I was having coffee and she saw me and came running over to show me her new shoes and to thank me. It was a very beautiful moment in time for me and I was the grateful one.
