I took this photo indoors while visiting my family. Nala the kitten is a new addition and I wanted to meet her.Time

Nala and I were sitting right next to an open window. There was also harsh yellow light from an overhead fan.Equipment
I used my Canon Rebel T3i and my hand to hold Nala up into the window light.Inspiration
I am a cat nut. Whenever anyone gets a new kitten I try to capture photos of their antics.Editing
Due to the indoor fan's light the picture was more yellow than it is now. I did minor color correction so that Nala's fur would still be close to her actual coat color.In my camera bag

Capturing kittens at play is fun but difficult. Have patience and don't be afraid to play get the shot.
