Location
This photo was taken at Grayton Beach State Park in the Florida Panhandle. It's five minutes up the road from the picturesque town of Seaside. It was taken in late April so there were very few people around and the whole place seemed quiet and deserted the whole time I was there.Time
It was late morning by the time I made it to the park and this photo was taken after nearly an hour of walking along the trail and taking in the sights.Lighting
There were no clouds in the sky that day which really made the colors in the plant life pop and I could see every little line in the leaves.Equipment
This photo was shot using a Canon Rebel T3i, an 18-55mm lens, and a UV lens filterInspiration
I had been taking plenty of pictures of the landscape and the surrounding dunes in the area and I kept spying little bits of plant life right by the path and decided to snap some photos.Editing
Except for some slight adjusting of contrast and vibrancy, there was not a lot of post processing done with this photo. In my camera bag
Along with my camera body and 18-55mm lens I also have a 75-300mm zoom lens, a telephoto attachment lens, and a macro attachment lens in my camera bag. I didn't use the macro lens for this shot but I have been using it in more recent photos.Feedback
The flowers are much smaller than they appear on camera so keep your eye out for the little details when looking for something to photograph. I nearly walked right past these.
