Great photo! In my opinion, this photo was one part luck and five parts preparation. You were very lucky to be there when this foolish person risked their life for a selfie. The other part was to have the presence of mind to realize what a great photo this would be and to compose it so perfectly. I would very likely have simply stood there with my mouth open and only later realized "Darn it! That would have been a REALLY good photo"
