Behind The Lens
Location
Photo was taken in Juneau Alaska during the bi-annual 4-day Celebration 2016 event, which brings together thousands of First Nations People from the Pacific NorthWest. This is a powerful event allowing First Nations People to share their culture and expression. My complete album of this event, which is still be updated with new images, is on my photo website, .. http://www.allanogilviephotographics.com/Events/Celebration2016/Time
Cannot remember the time of the day. This image was taken indoors.Lighting
Lighting was typical indoor tungsten set in a large room with some spot lights on stage. I compensated colour balance in post-editing.Equipment
Canon 6D, 70-200 lens, hand-held, no flash.Inspiration
My passion to create powerful images of our First Nations People.Editing
Taking a good picture with a good camera and lens is only part of the solution. The magic happens in post-editing. That is where the creative expression comes out. I use Lightroom and Photoshop, and Topaz. In my camera bag
Canon 6D, 24-104 lens, 70-200 lens, 2x converter, polarize filter, memory cards, spare batteries, BlackRapid camera strap, Photix speedlight with MagMod Diffuser for off-camera flash.Feedback
