Location
This photo was taken outside, in the heart of Budapest, next to the National Theatre. It was a TFCD event with a few models and photographers.Time
It was late afternoon. The sun was shining strongly, so we had to pay attention to the sharp shadows. In addition, sometimes it hurts her eyes. However, it was worth fighting for it, so it could work with a great girl.Lighting
Originally I had no idea about the image. I knew that I want a wide picture on which Indira posing on the waterfront in front of the theater. The pose I did not say into it, just let her feel comfortable. I only noticed during the post-production, how good it was this composition. The black-and-white version is just pie in the sky.Equipment
It was shot with a Canon EOS 700D camera and a Canon EF-S 17-85 IS USM lens. I didn't use a tripod, I held the camera in my hands, and the flash didn't fired.Inspiration
It was a spontaneous idea on the waterfront. We was just on the right place at the right time :)Editing
The retouching was interesting. When I reviewed the images from the photo session, this picture caught my eye. I felt that there was something in it that needs to be brought to the surface. What I have to show to the world. As a consequence was that once it were converted to black and white, I did enlighten the shadows and did it a bit contrasty. In my camera bag
I'm a beginner photographer, so I don't have a lot of equipment. In my bag are my camera with a portrait extension, a Canon EF 70-200mm f/4 USM and a Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM lens. There are alse UV and Polar filters, some extra memory card and a plus battery.Feedback
You must to be patient with yourself and must have opened eye. The model whom you are working with can draw you attention the a lot of interesting detail, from which you can learn a lot. This was my first much rated photo, so I can't tell you nothing useful or new about it, just I thing: this photo is a result of a happy and not-frustrated photo session ;)
