I love this composition. It echoes Michael Angelo's painting of The Creation in the Sistine Chapel. Thousands of ideas about the humanity in the relationship between God and man and the divinity in the relationship between father/grandfather and child come to mind. A very thought provoking image.

I "caught" this image as I was leaving an event I was covering for Fonthill In Doylestown PA. It was hot and there was a tent set up where this baby and grandfather took to the shade. Baby was crying and grandfather was trying to calm him down. Background of this image is actually the tent! Had to get the angle just right to make it work.As soon as I saw this taking place I thought the same thing. Reminded me of painting done by M Angelo. Its one of my favorite images I have taken. The lighter tones of the baby's foot is innocence and the darker grandfathers hand is aged and all that comes with it. Im glad you enjoyed and picked up an all that this image represents.
