This was taken at a natural open space in Minnesota. I wanted to capture the delicate branching nature of trees when they have lost all of their leaves, and took this on a spring day as it was just starting to warm up. The structure reminds me of nerves or capillaries, which seems fitting since trees survive through capillary action.
