Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at the creek on our property.

Time

I took this photo late in the evening as the sun was going down; as to catch the golden hour.

Lighting

Golden hour is always best!

Equipment

This was shot with a Nikon D5500, with a 35mm 1.8 lens.

Inspiration

I had a vision of a little boy barefoot in bibs fishing on the creek bank. Found an old hat of his dads in the closet & it worked perfectly!

Editing

Yes, I used lightroom to enhance some of the colors.

In my camera bag

Nikon D5500 body, 35mm 1.8 lens, 18-55mm lens, 55-200mm lens, tamron 70-300mm lens, filters, reverse macro adapter, cleaning cloth & brush.

Feedback

Lots of patience when working with children. I actually had to bribe my son to do this. He's been the main subject of my photography & runs from me when he sees me with camera in hand haha.
