Behind The Lens

Location

I took this picture after a day of terrible shooting. I was leaving the Downtown Los Angeles Public Library (which has amazing architecture) and as I left the beautiful building, I saw this man and said to myself, "TAKE THE PICTURE"

Time

This is some of my best work! I remember it wasn't my greatest shooting day but I was leaving the library and I just took this picture, it was a quick moment. He was about to leave but I caught him just in time. There are certain moments that we get and we have to take them before those moment disapear. Take advantage of everyone opportunity!

Lighting

The day couldn't haven't more perfect! It was sunny and bright so flash wasn't very necessary. Fortunately, the manual mode is super good so it made making this photograph quite easy.

Equipment

I used my first camera, a Canon Rebel t5 with my telephoto lens

Inspiration

My inspiration for this was looking for the perfect subject to capture which thankfully that what I got! I think this picture gives others inspriation that beauty can be found in anything.

Editing

I was shooting on Manual mode which sometimes can sometimes be a pain to work with but I pretty sure it turned out alright

In my camera bag

My bag, normally has my camera (Canon Rebel t5), two lens, the wide lens and the telephoto, a tripod, headphones (just in case :) and a notebook for notes, quote and ideas. Sometimes, I have my extra camera, Sony hand-camera but that's only when the battery might die on the other camera.

Feedback

I think it's important to stay with things that you like and enjoy. You can't be scared, fearing that you aren't good enough, the worse that happens if you get a "no." Be yourself :)
