Location
This photo was taken at my home in the backyard. I am a self taught photographer.Time
I took this photo mid afternoon daylight savings time in Tasmania.Lighting
This was just a random shot I took sitting behind a screen flywire door. It took a bit of time to adjust the lens to phase out the flywire.Equipment
This was shot on a Nikon D5500, 55-200mm lens.Inspiration
My passion is dog photography. I only picked up a camera a year ago and take any opportunity to photograph my dogs.Editing
I only have basic editing software. I preferred the image in black and white so I used the filter to change the image. In my camera bag
At the moment all I have is the Nikon D5500 and standard kit lens. I always have 2 batteries fully charged.Feedback
I'm new to photography and self taught, so my only advice would be just have ago, learn from mistakes and do a happy dance when you get it right! However, I do have a lot of experience with dogs and if you can learn a few basic dog training tricks and key words like "ball", "walkies "and "where is it?, can make photographing dogs much easier. Patience is another key factor and shooting at the dogs level makes for a much better photo.
