While visiting the San Juan island's a few weeks back after a slow morning wildlife wise, amazingly we encountered the J16's part of Jpod of the endangered Southern Resident Killer whales. Lack of their preferred prey, Chinook ( king salmon) the residents have been spending more time in outside waters. It's at a crucial point that something be done to bring down the dams do the King can begin returning to these waters. Essentially these whales are starving and our job as
