Location
This photo was taken in my favorite place in the area i reside. Actually, it's the only place i love near where i live. It's a magical place for me. It's full of history and it's always nice to visit. It's called Quinta da Fidalga in Seixal ( Portugal).Time
I remember the day i took this photo. I was with my parents and it was around 4 or 5:00 p.m and we were just passing by and we decided to go take a look around again. And although it changed a bit, for me, it's still a magical place. It was the last time i was there with my parents. I have such good memories of that day and all the days i used to spend in this place.Lighting
Of course we can see that the photo had editing and all but in terms of lighting i just used natural light. At the time that photo was taken the light of the sunset was shining through and it's beautiful there.Equipment
I used my Canon 1200D and EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 DC III .Inspiration
Well i was walking through the garden with my parents and there's so much history, so many little details to capture that you just can't find a way to capture all in one picture. So i was walking and i just looked to that chapel and saw so many details and history around it i just had to capture it. That's the thing about that place (Quinta da Fidalga), it makes us want to capture everything and to be honest ( in my case) , never want to leave. I think what really inspired me was thinking about all the historical characters that went there and lived there, i just start thinking what would look like at that time ? Living in a place like that, walking every morning through those gardens.Editing
I used HDR filter, i thought it would look nice and i think it does. The original photo it's good but with this editing i think it looks better, more vivid. In my camera bag
I usually use the same , my Canon 1200D and my lens EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 DC III .Feedback
Find a magical place like this one and capture it. That's what i did.
