Location
This was taken on the couch in my living room. Just thought it would make a great photo.Time
I was on my way to work that day so it was around 7am.Lighting
Nothing special for lighting just standard overhead florescent lights.Equipment
I used my Sony a6300 with the standard 16-50 kit lens and just a free hand shot.Inspiration
She was my best friend and she always enjoyed being around me so I wanted something to remember her by.Editing
Only post processing was that I cropped the image.In my camera bag
Equipment then and now are very different. Then all I had was camera and lens kit. Now I keep a few prime lenses 35mm, 50mm and at least one zoom lens. 70-300mm seems to be the one zoom i use the most.Feedback
I’m an amateur at all of this so I just like to have fun and shot what I think will look great. The main advice I would give is to not get disappointed if your photos don’t look “awesome or great” at first. Keep talking pictures and find the style you like. It’s art and art should be fun.
