Location
I took this photo at National Botanical Research Institute (NBRI) at Lucknow in maybe June'2016 with a Nikon point & shoot digital camera. I'm not a professional photographer but just like to click anything around that fascinates me, nowadays, primarily through my Lenovo K6 Power phone.Time
I had gone to visit that place on reminiscing that I visited it once when in school. It was somewhere around 11 in the morning when I came across a wired enclosure where these lotuses were blooming. So I just somehow held the camera in such a manner that it passed the wires and I was able to click this flower.Lighting
As I already mentioned that I'm not a professional photographer but with commonsense I could make out that if the object is too much under sunlight so it gets over exposed so I tried to take the shot at such an angle by which the flower may appear crisp and the most dominant feature of this image.Equipment
I used a Nikon 13 or maybe 16 megapixel Point & Shoot digital camera. I'm not aware of manual settings much so I allowed everything to stay on Auto. As mentioned earlier, the flower was blooming inside a wired enclosure so I just held the camera in my hands in such a manner that it may pass through the barricading and I the moment I saw a clear image in the LCD viewfinder, I just hit the shutter button.Inspiration
Browsing through nature wallpapers and seeing some very beautiful images and of course things existing around could be considered as my greatest inspiration. And moreover, I like to always indulge into something creative that others may feel happy on, like I feel feel happy and am filled with a sense of appreciation for someone else' work, so I just click and share my own. I also feel that maybe, someday I also become recognized for my work.Editing
No, I hardly ever do any post processing ( though I'd really like to know, learn and even use it) and as far as this image is concerned. It's just straight off the camera's memory card.In my camera bag
Earlier I used to always keep that camera on me with which I took this photo but it belonged to someone else and she asked for it so I returned it. However, now I always keep my phone handy, which's a Lenovo K6 Power and try to click as best as possible with it only.Feedback
I think the best advice to take such a photo is to firstly find such a place where nature is predominant that the city structures. Then one must definitely have an eye for detail and creativity to present with panache, even the ordinary. Though how much important the whole photographers paraphernalia maybe but I think one's creativity surpasses the camera as this image was clicked with just a point & shoot camera which I think (with due respect and regards) the professional photographers might not even touch.
