Location
This photograph was taken in my windowsill, using natural light, tripod and 100mm lens. This silly plant is well over a year old during this shot...from a flower basket for my mother who had been in the hospital. I distributed the plants into different pots and the African Violet said Thank You with a bloom.Time
I believe I took this early morning - right after sunrise....the window faces south.Lighting
Only that it was natural.Equipment
Canon EOS 40D, yes, tripod. No flash.Inspiration
I belong to a photographic group who requests different challenges each week. The challenge that week was Macro.Editing
No - straight out of the camera. In my camera bag
Nothing fancy.....camera and extra lens...70-300mm. No bells and whistles over here.Feedback
Be patient and find a terrific focal point. In most cases, focus on the edge of your subject closest to you.....the rest will fall into place.
