Shoopers

This is one of my favorite picture stories. I was riding my bike up at Behrend College. When I turned to go between two buildings, I thought, "Oh, someone did a really good job on that carving." Then it moved. I got this shot before it flew away. The experts I asked at the time said they couldn't be sure whether it was a Cooper's Hawk or a Sharp-Shinned Hawk. Their fallback was to say it's a Shoopers.
