Behind The Lens

Location

Fly, outside our front door, meeting the new dog. Typical Terrier behavior - lifting 1 paw to calm self and give a friendly welcome - like a handshake.

Time

This is mid-morning. After waking early to terrier growls, then disgruntled behavior over breakfast, I decided they both needed to go outside for a meet 'n' greet.

Lighting

I wanted the image to be peaceful and warm.

Equipment

I am a beginner at photography. My camera is a Canon EOS Rebel T3 with a EFS18-55mm lens.

Inspiration

I love to catch dog behavior in photos. This morning was full of behaviors waiting to be captured.

I have larger lens that I use occasionally and I have a tripod which I have not used yet.
